Hi there Sue, I read it and can agree with a lot of your conclusions.
I am currently reading Energy Beyond Oil by Paul Mobbs, I’m only at start of 4th paragraph and can see why the issue of Peak Oil is not spoken about, there are to many people who would get their fingers burnt if it was more well known. Like you I am really concerned.
Which is why I did consider attending the Solar Cities Congress in April, until I looked at the agenda and soon realised it was not for me an individual. Whose major interests are environmental issues.
What I would like to ask you about is the 40% house. I live in a 1880’s terrace which I understand was the example given as to what is a bad example of failing to meet the 40% ideal. Can you tell how you would decide which houses would be removed?
I own a copy of Ecohouse 2 the cost of the book that the 40% house is in is too expensive there fore is it possible to read the section on this subject.
